It’s getting chilly, folks. It’s soup season, stew season, put-a-pot-on-the-stove season. If you’re like me, you might be digging out your winter clothes, pulling on your fuzzy socks… and making this amazing stew.
Sausage & lentil stew hails from France— and having spent two winters there during college, I can tell you that it gets cold enough to rival the polar vortex we’re currently experiencing! If this stew can get the French through the biting Mistral (the 30+mph wind that blows over southern France from the Alps), I think we’re wise to make it in our cold-weather kitchens, too.
I recommend grabbing some bread to go along with it— or make a loaf of your own!
